I got to work this morning and opened up Microsoft Outlook, a process I do every morning. This morning it was different. One of my friends wrote me an email and it honestly made my day (before my day even truly had a chance to begin).

She wrote:

"You know what I like about you? That I can always talk to you about something that is bothering me. Things that I sometimes won't tell anyone. That's because you make me comfortable and you are easy to talk to and always provide me with really good advice. You calm me down quite a bit too. Haha. :)"

I feel honored by her saying this. I feel like I try so much to be a good support system to my friends and encourage people to talk to me if they need someone to talk to. Hearing/reading something like this makes me feel like I've done good, created some peace for those around me.

Nothing quite like it.

Love you all!

This man right here...
We have been through a lot lately.
We have been apart.
We're back together.
We have learned more about each other than I ever imagined we would.
We've broken down.
We've gotten back up.
We've fallen into pieces.
We've put the puzzle back together.
We hit rock bottom.
We've soared higher than cloud nine.

Through all the good & the bad...
We never lost our love.
This is a love that will withstand all.
Forever. True. Honest. Trustworthy. Unconditional.

I love this man with all my heart & soul.
He is and always will be my best friend.
I can't imagine life without him.
I feel so lucky to be loved by him.

So here's to finding someone
That loves you...
That believes in you...
That is completely honest with you...
That is your best friend...
That is your other half...
That treats you right...
That tells you you're beautiful & sexy...
That stands by your side and protects you through life.

I love you Eric Rossberg.
You are my everything.

Push the limits.

Reach for the sky.

Only you create your own limitations.

Believe in yourself.

Be humble.

Be caring.

Be the best you that you can be.

Isn't that the truth?
I think that the best things in life are often the hardest to come by.

~ Ever-Lasting Love
~ A career you truly love
~ Best friends who you can trust with any secret
~ Honest People
~ Open Mindedness
~ Acceptance
~ Self-Esteem

The best things in life take work, commitment & drive.
Never give up on your dreams.
Never compromise yourself.
Never give up!

Then you will be truly happy & truly blessed.
I know I sure am & I am so beyond thankful for that.

Weddings, Concerts, Family & Friends...

This summer has been full of fun! It's been probably the busiest summer of my life but I wouldn't take back one second of it. I have been to 4 weddings, 3 in the last 3 weekends! My favorite of them all, of course, was my sister & Dan's wedding! That was one of the best days of my life and it wasn't even my wedding. I had the privilege of being Hannah's Maid of Honor and got to help with so much of the wedding along the way. I was a part of the engagement (taking pictures) over a year ago and got to stand by her side on July 30th. She looked breathtakingly beautiful. She was glowing in a way I hadn't ever seen before. This was the day she got to marry the love of her life, her best friend, Dan. She became Mrs. Winterstein that beautiful sunny day. I couldn't be happier for either of them! Since the wedding, they went to Cabo and then made the move to Washington last week. I've been missing her like crazy. We've gotten closer than ever this summer and I love every second of it! She's truly my best friend who I am blessed to also have as a sister. Love you lil lady! :)

I've gotten to go to a few concerts this summer too! The first one was Kate Voegele & Natasha Beddingfield at the Aladdin Theatre in Portland. I went with my friend, Lauren, and we had such a great time! I always have a good time with that girl! The concert was so much more than I imagined. Kate Voegele has been one of my favorite artists for years now and I have always wanted to see her live. It finally happened & I got to meet her too! Natasha Beddingfield was really awesome to see! Her newest CD has been playing in my car all summer. It's a great one and she's such a great performer! That concert was one of the best I've ever been too so far!

On July 23rd, Eric & I headed up to Portland to see Kenny Chesney at the Rose Garden. Uncle Kracker & Billy Currington opened for him, both were a lot of fun! Seeing Billy reminded me of the time my sister & I saw him probably 10 years ago at the McDonald Theatre here in Eugene. It still makes me laugh remembering how giddy Hannah was that she got to hold his hand! Kenny was nothing short of amazing! The overall show was spectacular! He sounds great live & really knows how to put on a good show! It was a blast & I'm glad I got to go!

This past Thursday, Eric, Craig, Jen and I drove down to the Douglass County Fair and saw Dierks Bentley! Best $9 ever! He was a lot of fun too! I haven't been let down whatsoever by any show I've seen this summer and I hope that this proves true for this upcoming weekend! Hannah, Jen & I are headed to the Willamette Country Music Festival in Brownsville. I can't freaking wait! It's 3 days of camping and country concerts! Plus, I get to see my sister! :)

This summer, with everything going on, has been so much fun. I've been so blessed to have been surrounded by my favorite people... my family and friends. This summer is one I will never forget and I look forward to the rest of it! :)
